I am a professional pastry chef originally from South Africa. I spent many years working in the kitchens of some of South Africa's top catering companies and hotel kitchens, gaining valuable knowledge of the wedding industry, including event styling and function coordination. I was soon offered a head chef position on a private yacht owned by a British family and spent the next four years travelling the globe by sea, learning about international cuisines & cultures.
I moved to Suffolk and made Aldeburgh in Suffolk my permanent home at the end of 2010. This is when CRUMB was born.
